I'm very excited about

Nu-Phonic - a new project formed to showcase my original contemporary jazz compositions.

It is a quartet featuring myself, Roger Humbles, on saxes,

(I studied at Guildhall School of Music and have performed at Ronnie Scotts, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Vortex, 606 Club, Hideaway etc)

Matt Skeaping on drums (Matt  has recorded with Claire Martin (OBE), and with Jamie Cullum for 18 months. Other notable credits include a stint with Adrian Cox, Liam Noble, Phil Robson, Alex Hutton, the late Dudu Pukwana, TJ Johnson and many others)

Christian Prior on piano (he also runs his own projects Gin Trap House Band and Dreiklang trio)

Julie Walkington on acoustic bass (Julie has been a part of the London jazz scene for nearly 3 decades, playing with noted musicians such as Harry Beckett, Jim Mullen, Russ Henderson, Lol Coxhill, Claire Martin, Veryan Weston, Geoff Eales and  Barb Jungr with whom she recorded and toured extensively.

She has recorded and toured with vocalists Georgia Mancio, Tina May and (Canadian) Tammy Weis, and performs with London jazz choir ‘Take Twenty’ led by Ben Cox.

This year she recorded with FEWtrio, a new piano trio project and also Moonscape, a chordless  quartet, who played at the Manchester Jazz Festival July 2018.  She is performing regularly with Alina Bzhezhinska’s Hip Harp Collective)
